I have a lot of catching up to do on this blog. Including Thanksgiving spent with wonderful family, the boys helping get ready for Christmas, Cam's new haircut (yes, we cut off the curls), and now, soon to be Christmas. I hope to get all caught up in the near future but wanted to post this special video in the mean time. A friend of mine asked if I would play the piano for her Relief Society lesson on Joseph Smith. I had the perfect song, "The Restoration Medley" by Paul Cardall. I was going to play it live with a slide show but then I got the opportunity to record it on a beautiful Baby Grand Piano. It was a miracle the way it all fit together and I truly believe that all involved where touched by the spirit. I hope you enjoy it. I have a testimony of Joseph Smith and know that he was a profit of God, chosen to restore His church on the earth for our day. It is remarkable to me the things he endured and that he never wavered in his faith, the Book of Mormon, or the first vision of Heavenly Father and Jesus in the sacred grove. I feel blessed to have been a part of this video and portraying this remarkable man.

Little Bear Bottoms
This happened before Halloween and I didn't want to leave it out. So sorry if it's out of order.
My mom and dad had a halloween party and after eating a themed dinner we headed out to Little Bear Bottoms Corn Maze. For fun I drew facial hair on the boys and they had fun looking like dad for a day. At Little Bear Bottoms, the kids played on the giant hay pyramid, walked the kiddy corn maze, watch Icabob Crane on an outdoor screen, sat around a fire and ate cupcakes, and went on a Spooky Scarecrow hay ride. It was very cold, but everyone had a lot of fun! Thanks Nana and Papa!

Halloween 2009!
Halloween was so much fun this year! The boys are at that perfect age when they really figure it out that they just have to knock on a door and strangers give them candy. Really? How cool is that! Arlo went as a Ghost, Cache a Robot, and Cam wore the famous Chicken Costume. I made Arlo's costume this year and AJ made Cache's robot. Cache's costume was a big hit! There is something about homemade costumes that everyone loves! It was a box spray painted silver with dryer duct arms. We attached a tinfoil pie tin (with duct tape) and LED lights. He walked around the School Halloween carnival saying "I'm a Robot" in his best robot voice and robotic arms. All the boys were very cute and polite while trick or treating, but Cam is the one that got the looks, ohhhs and ahhhs. We bought the chicken costume 4 years ago on Ebay and it was one of the best purchases we ever made. It is the funniest and cutest costume I have ever seen! At the Halloween Carnival every one was talking about the little boy in the chicken costume. And it was the same while at the trunk-or-treat and going door to door. The boys got a lot of candy and hopefully a lot of memories.

I'm featured in the Salt Lake Tribune!
I'm such a coupon geek, I love it! Last week at one of my Coupon Classes, Lesley Mitchell, a reporter for the Salt Lake Tribune and writer of the One Cheap Chick blog, came and sat it. She was super friendly and is a big bargain shopper like myself. It was great to meet her because I'm a big fan of her Blog. Anywho, she wrote an article about the classes I teach and it was in today's paper. I just wanted to share it with all of you. It's titled Gaga For Coupons, and you can be, too. Hope you read it!

I want to talk about Me!
Hi everyone. I'm once again on a journey to loving me. With 3 little boys and a busy life I've put myself on the back burner and have let myself be last on my priority list. I know a lot of you can relate to this, and I'm going to do something about it. I need to be more confident in myself, love myself, so I can allow others to love me. For those of you that know my dear husband, AJ, you know what a poetic and genuine person he can be. He might be embarrassed by me saying this, but yes, he whispers sweet thing to me all the time. His words are so beautiful and poetic that it would bring any women to say "OHHHH" and shed a tear or two. I know that he loves me, but I have a hard time with the "why". He tells me I'm beautiful, but again, I don't believe him. This is so not fair for him that I'm like this. It comes down to me not loving me. Me not being confident in myself that I am worthy of such a great, handsome man. Sometimes it breaks my heart that I can't tell AJ in words how much I love him and how much he means to me. I am so terrible with words and at times I say nothing at all.
Most of you know that I'm an instructor for Grocery Smarts. On average, 2 nights a week I teach classes to several women on how to lower their grocery bill. I love my job, and helping others when they are in a tough financial situation. I love sharing my secrets and am very passionate about what I do. However, I'm teaching, giving presentations, standing in front of 20-30 women at a time, all of them looking at me, listening to what I have to say. I'm confident in what I'm teaching but not in my image. Sometimes before a class I look in the mirror and wish I was prettier, thinner, had a better complexion, whiter teeth, and yes, even sometimes long hair, a stylish do! I know that I'm a good person, that people like me, and get along with me well. But I want to love myself, have more confidence in myself, and hopefully allow more people including my family into my personal self and know that I'm worthy to be in theirs.
So, with that said, I'm on a journey to taking care of me! I'm going to strive to eat healthier, exercise more, and take care of myself. And do things that make me happy.
Being a bargain shopper makes me happy. I feel like I'm contributing to our families finances by using coupons. The time I spend and put into couponing is like paying myself $50-100 an hour. I will continue to do this and also teach others. There is such a satisfaction in teaching and changing lives. It has made me a better person.
As far as my image, I'm looking into something new. I have been stuggling with my complexion and acne for awhile now and it's made me very self conscious. Trying to cover it up with make-up just makes it worse. I feel better about myself when I actually take care of myself and my skin so I'm making a commitment to doing that. Taking the extra time each day to pamper myself to make me feel better about myself. A friend introduced me to a new medical treatment call Skincerity. The timing was perfect. I knew I wanted to start taking more care of myself and when I made the commitment, this product fell into my lap. Last night I went and learned more about it and I'm super excited to use it. Last night was my first attempt and already this morning I feel a difference. It's a patented breathable masque that you roll on before you go to bed and works through the night. It was first designed to help skin cancer patients heal their skin. It's for anti-aging, acne, exzema, scars, rashes, blisters, and for sun damage. You need to check it out. Tony's Grove
We love doing things as a family and exploring the outdoors. One of our favorite places to go and hike around is Tony's Grove. It's a beautiful lake hidden in the mountains of Cache Valley. It was extremely cold that day but the sun was shining. We bundled up the kids and enjoyed a hike around the lake. We stopped to throw rocks in the water, climb big boulders, explore caves, and enjoy the beautiful scenery. We took Aerl, or Chocolate Lab, with us and he was in dog heaven. Despite the cold, he loved diving for rocks in the lake. It was funny to see him pulling up big boulders. To end the day we ate dinner at Panda Express and went into PetsMart with the whole family, included Aerl, to let the boys pick out a bone for their best furry friend. I was cute to see the boys pulling all the big bones from the shelves claiming that this was the one that Aerl would love. Aerl was very well behaved in the store, he's such a good dog and we love him so much. It was a great family day!
Enjoying the Fall Season
While AJ was in Colorado for a week helping roof my brother's house, I took the boys to Provo to spend the day with my sister and her kids. We went up Provo Canyon and enjoyed the beautiful season of Fall. The leaves were just starting to change and we decided to do a little hiking around. We drove up into a beautiful campsite to explore then headed to Bridal Veil Falls.

Peach Days Carnival Fun
For Peach Days this year we bought the boys wrist bands so they could go on unlimited rides at the carnival. The kids had fun but it was not worth the money and decided that next year we'll take them to Lagoon instead!
Camping
The weekend before Arlo started School we decided to get in one last camping trip and try out our new tent. We stayed close and went up the canyon near our home and invited my family to come up for dinner. Here are a few pictures that I got from the evening.
I love this shot! Boys will be boys!
It was a memorable trip. My sister's little girl consecrated the tent by pooping all over in it. And Cam screamed all night that led me to taking him home at 1 in the morning. I went back up in the early morning to get the other boys and get breakfast going but we decided to just pack up camp and come home.
